Intelligent Workflows Platform for S2P

This project is creating an automation-first AI-powered intelligent workflow solution for the Source to Pay process area. I worked on 3 projects: VQP, Content Intelligence, and Supplier reconciliation. The project was already underway for a 1year by the previous designer.

My job was to understand the players and the developers and audit the current flow of the design. The project was bleeding money and a whole lot of disagreements.

I always adhere to a specific methodology when working on projects. Kindly review my process outlined here to ensure my portfolio is not repetitive.

Revamped the entire application and workflow process:

  1. Prioritized on user experience and research.

  2. Introduced carbon design system and component reuse
    methodology, bringing consistency and lowering development time.

  3. Build Responsive layouts and components.

  4. Reworked the logic on specific rule workflows.

  5. After numerous arguments and negotiations, I collaborated with the Product owners & Development team to achieve a shared vision of excellence. Together, we overcame obstacles and found solutions that resulted in a quality product.

Which led to

  1. Intuitive & faster workflows

  2. Consistent design implementations

  3. Faster UI development time

  4. Faster adoption rate and 3 new sign-in post first demo 

  5. Operating cost reduction

  6. Cycle time improvement

  7. Improved accuracy with audit trail

  8. Payment on time to vendors

  9. Headcount reduction (I don't particularly desire this, but progress is inevitable.)
